JMTT......Just my thoughts today....

It boggles my mind of all the creativity that I see on the
internet.There are so many genres, ages and genders...Just
SIMPLY ULTIMATE CREATIVITY...I have joined a few groups on
Facebook and the creativity continues.I look at artists and I
think how long before I can get close to that level. It is an
awe inspiring experience for me to see how God has guided the
beauty of the imagination through creative art....Just my
thoughts today.....

A Dear Friend

Spoke to a dear friend that has lost her first grandchild at a couple of months gestation today. My heart really goes out to her. This would have been her first. Please if you are led to pray for her and her daughter. God knows their names....

The process of moving my rooms content in my home has been a laboring experience. As you know I decided to move my craft room into my living room. That was fine now what do I do with the other two rooms...I need to move my bedroom which is the larger room to become my new living room or perhaps sitting room. Then relocate my bedroom to the smaller room. Now the creativity in me did not allow just that. I of course started with just one little thing to change to completely redecorating my entire home. It has been quite a journey to say the least. Because of course life goes on in the interim. There is no opportunity to dedicate weeks or even days to do just this...So the journey continues. But I must say I am loving it...Decluttering and having my home completely ORGANIZED, every room….WHAT A JOY!!

So what is it I do with this day...well let me think I am blessed to be present in it. So of course I MUST CREATE!!....I think I will make tags today. You know if yo have never made a tag it is the most freeing for a beginner. There is no special way include a pic or not. Whatever you want. You can bring it to completion rather quickly or you can do as I do and never know when to complete...You can add lace or not..stamping or not..flowers or not...However you want this little tag to look. It can even be a Multi Media techniques tag.

Now since those of you that have read my posts or visited my FB Page..facebook.com/scrappinginthespirit...then you know I
approach this hobby from a purely as budget conscious, frugal, or
just pain cheap perspective. Sooo that being said..I take a
good strong box and I ct the flap sides, punch a hole on the
top and punch a hole at the top...and if you have a Crop-A-Dile
You can put a ring aroud your punched hole.VOILA!! there is my tag base.
Or you can buy from Office Depot, Target, WalMart or any of the Big Box
stores a box of shipping tags-Large with the string at
the top. You can then design however you want.  ENJOY

This man is my best friend. If you want to know why I am the person I am... it is because of his love and belief in me. This was his 52nd birthday. He even grilled all the food that day for our family. Ty is always thinking of others before himself. He is the ROCK in our family.

The cancer is so aggressive... so soon... and already we can see daily how fast the nodes are getting bigger. Yes, the CANCER is already spreading. We sat (in a daze) as he said that Ty needed to get test right then for a donor so he could have another transplant. I will tell you that they went in full blown action mode at this point. Dr. Sweetenham explained that we have to start chemo again to get Tyler in remission. They are going to do something "much worse" then before. He explained it is called the SMILE chemotherapy regimen. He said the plan of attack is to hit it hard and get this cancer in control so he can get another transplant. He said the SMILE definitely is not what it would imply in meaning and that this is a very aggressive plan of attack in order to fight his cancer.
